The Honors program at UC is structured a little differently than the Honors programs at different universities. Instead of taking a credit based approach, UC uses an experience based approach. This means that in order to graduate from the Honors program I need to complete a minimum of 5 honors experiences before I graduate. These honors experiences can take one of three forms; either a honors seminar, a pre-approved experience or a self-designed experience. A honors seminar is a 3-credit class that often counts as a gen ed. A pre-approved experience is a program of which the Honors Program has vetted and has determined to an acceptable honors experience. If neither of the previous options work for you or if you would like to purse another one of your passions, you can self-design an experience and make it all your own.
In the tabs underneath this page all of the honors experiences I complete throughout my time in the honors program will be documented. Click on the tabs for more information about specific experiences!
